Salisbury Kindergarten has two groups: Group 1 has capacity for 22 children, while Group 2 has capacity for 33 children. Group 1 children attend Mondays and Tuesdays, and Group 2 children attend Wednesdays and Thursdays. Our days begin at 8:00am and end at 3:30pm.
Children who turn 4 years old:

- Before May 1st: can start kindergarten at the beginning of the year
- On May 1st to 31st October: can start kindergarten at the start of term 3
- After 31st October: can start kindergarten at the start of the following year
Children will have the opportunity to access 4 terms (1 year) of Government kindergarten in the year before they begin school. Each child is entitled to 15 hours of kindergarten per week. If you are not sure of the best time for your child to start kindergarten or feel that your child may benefit from starting kindergarten later, talk to us about your options.
You can register your interest for your child to attend preschool at Salisbury Kindergarten by using the preschool registration form. Please complete and return to the kindergarten via email or drop off.
If your child is offered a place, you will receive an email from us. To accept the offer and secure the place, you will need to reply within the time frame requested.
Fees
- Child’s first term: $150
- Child’s second term: $150
- Child’s third term: $100
Total of $400 for the year.
