Guided by and working with DfE

At Salisbury Kindergarten, educators are guided by a combination of trusted frameworks and approaches. The Early Years Learning Framework v2.0 (EYLF) ensures we focus on children’s learning through play, curiosity, and exploration. The National Quality Framework (NQF) helps us maintain high standards in safety, wellbeing, and educational practices. The Reggio Emilia philosophy inspires us to view children as capable, creative thinkers whose ideas and questions drive learning. Finally, the Marte Meo Method supports us in fostering positive, responsive relationships that nurture each child’s confidence, social skills, and emotional development. Together, these frameworks guide us in creating a rich, respectful, and joyful learning environment where every child can thrive.

Guided by the Reggio Emilia approach, the Marte Meo Method, the EYLF, and the NQF, Salisbury Kindergarten works in close partnership with the Department for Education and its services. These include early intervention programs, inclusion support, and family support initiatives. Through this collaboration, we ensure our programs are high-quality, inclusive, and responsive, providing every child with opportunities to explore, learn, and thrive within a supportive and connected early childhood community.
